GT Software, the leader in revolutionizing data, processes and transactions to optimize business information across all platforms, will speak on mainframe integration solutions at the 10th Annual European Technical University for IBM z Systems in Leipzig, Germany next week.

GT Software’s Wilson Rains, vice president of mainframe solutions and alliances, will present a session entitled, “Learn How to Maximize the Value of the Mainframe (zVSE/z Systems) Using SOAP and REST.”  Rains’ presentation will focus on how mainframe integration solutions and Web services best practices can drive maximum value from existing mainframe investments and cut cost.  By exploring ways to leverage Linux on z and specialty engines to control MIPS, Rains will stress to the audience why having choices for developing Web services are critical to maximize IT investments for greater efficiency.

Rains’ presentation will introduce the capabilities of GT Software’s pioneering data access solution, the Ivory® Service Architect™.  This solution provides advanced orchestration and integration using industry standard APIs to help organizations worldwide to develop new applications for mobile, web, cloud, and cognitive innovation.  This presentation will be held on Monday, October 24th at 1:00 PM at the Westin Hotel in Leipzig, German.

“We are looking forward to presenting at this annual event for IBM System z users.  Our mainframe modernization solutions remove barriers to data access and application development that many z Systems users face daily.  By sharing our solution, we can help conference attendees meet demand for digital business and other mission-critical objectives,” stated Rains.

GT Software is also a Gold Sponsor of this event and will exhibit at Stand #4 at the Westin Hotel.  The firm’s partner in Germany, Machold Informationstechnologie, will also join GT Software in the expo area to answer any questions about mainframe modernization solutions.
