Atlanta, GA – October 17, 2016 – GT Software, the leader in revolutionizing data, processes and transactions to optimize business information across all platforms, will present at Wednesday’s meeting of the New York/New Jersey z Council.  This IBM hosted council brings together the community of z Systems clients in the Tri State area for strategic discussions to help attendees continue to leverage their IT investments.

GT Software’s Vice President of Alliances and Professional Services, Clarence Waldrop, III, along with Len Santalucia, Chief TechnologyOofficer of Vicom Infinity and GT Software’s Director of z Systems Software: IMS & CICS, Dusty Rivers, will present a session on mainframe application modernization using robust APIs.  Waldrop, Santalucia and Rivers will discuss the extensive capabilities of GT Software’s pioneering data access solution, the Ivory® Service Architect™.  The presenters will discuss how Ivory and IBM’s z/OS Connect EE product offering can work together or independently, depending on the clients’ computing platform.  GT Software’s Ivory provides advanced orchestration and integration using industry standard APIs to help organizations worldwide to develop new applications for mobile, web, cloud, and cognitive innovation which works well with IBM z/OS Connect EE product.
