GT Software, the leader in revolutionizing data, processes and transactions to optimize business information across all platforms, will have its seven-time IBM Champion and Director of z Systems Software: IMS & CICS, Dusty Rivers present at IBM’s World of Watson this week in Las Vegas.

Rivers’ presentation, “The World of Watson and the Mainframe: Yes, It’s Possible!” will feature a discussion around how to keep the mainframe as an integral part of an organization’s strategy around cognitive computing.  Rivers will highlight GT Software’s data access and application development solution set, Ivory as an innovative way to integrate existing mainframe systems with cognitive initiatives without any changes to existing code.

“The lifeblood of any cognitive strategy involves an organization’s key data and analytics.  For most organizations, this important information resides on the mainframe.  It is often a challenge for companies to access and integrate legacy systems with modern innovations.  Our Ivory solution makes accessing this data simple and low risk, enabling companies to quickly connect and integrate their data with IBM’s Watson,” explained Rivers.

IBM World of Watson 2016 will take place at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Nevada from October 24th through October 27th.  Rivers’ presentation will take place inside the EXPO Hall at the Watson Theatre at 10:30 am on Wednesday, October 26th.
