GT Software, a leader in mainframe integration and migration, announced Dr. Alex Heublein as its Chief Revenue Officer, where he will drive ongoing company growth, sales and digital transformation initiatives for clients across the globe.
Heublein brings more than 20 years of proven experience helping technology companies grow, enhance operational efficiencies and deliver best-in-class products for clients and customers. In his new role, Heublein will be responsible for leading GT Software’s sales, solution architecture and strategic alliance teams.
Prior to GT Software, Heublein served as Vice President, Global Technology Services at Oracle. There, he led a team of more than 120 individuals across 14 countries, generating a 55% consulting margin improvement in less than two years while driving $10M in incremental solution revenue.
As Sr. Director of Strategy and Operations at Pivotal, Heublein led strategy and operations for the company’s Customer Success Organization. Heublein also served as Vice President of Global Sales Enablement at Red Hat and was the Chief Technologist for HP Consulting & Integration, where he was directly responsible for the technology vision and strategy of a $4 billion division reporting directly to the CTO of HP Services.
In addition to his expansive career, Heublein also holds an Executive Doctorate in Business (DBA) from the Georgia State University J. Mack Robinson College of Business. His dissertation on “Open Source In The Clouds – How Organizational Ambidexterity Shapes and is Shaped by Disruptive Innovation in an Open Source Software Provider” addresses how incumbent firms effectively respond to disruptive technological innovations.
